The World of Watercolor artist Sandra Starkey

This world is filled with all types energy and that energy I use to express my work. Art is my passion whether it but in watercolors or oils.

Using watercolor as my preferred medium for artistic ommunication, I enjoy the freedom that it affords me.As a watercolorist, I'm able to apply various techniques to maximize
the distinctiveness of my paintings, and this particular medium enables me to simply follow the art where it leads me.  This is when I get totally loosed in to my work. Hours pass and it only
felt as if iswas a few minutes ago. My brush is the work horse.
    
As a self taught artist who has been learning a lifetime, I
continue to pursue educational endeavors to hone my skills and enhance
my talents as an artist.  Learining and developing my love for watercolors art is a high priority.  My love for art drives me to constantly grow and develop as an artist and myself.

While on my quest I express my personal throughs thourgh my
art, I derive inspiration everyday from an assortment of people.  I love bold, bright colors and the
power they have along with fthe emotion of clor. This all brings joy to those who experience my
paintings. As an artist, my goals are to combine energy, imagery, and passion in my art to create
works of art that make others happy.
